Who this list is for

For anyone who wants to share opinions with confidence: at work, in conversation, on camera. The topics are everyday and debatable at the same time: getting up early, social media, procrastination. A good daily warm-up.

A common mistake

Rambling. The answer starts with β€œWell, it’s a complex question”, then three ideas follow in a row, and the listener never learns what you think. One position, one reason, one example.

Sample answer

Is social media making us unhappier?

I think it does, but not by itself β€” through comparison. In the feed we see the best moments of other people’s lives and compare them with our ordinary days. When I deleted Instagram for a month, the feeling that everyone was doing better than me disappeared. So the problem isn’t social media, it’s how much time we spend watching others there.

Questions about this list

What if I have no opinion on a topic?

Pick any side and defend it for a minute. The goal is the skill of putting thoughts into words, not the right answer.

How do I make an answer more convincing?

Add one concrete example from life or one number.

How often should I practice?

One or two topics a day show a noticeable difference within a couple of weeks.

How a session works

  1. Spin the wheelYou get a random topic from this list β€” like a question you didn't prepare for.
  2. Speak for a minuteLammy turns speech into text. The coach counts fillers, pauses and pace and checks your structure.
  3. Second takeGet one task and say it again. Your second take almost always scores higher.
