What you get after every session

Speak without “um,” “uh,” and “you know.”

You see the difference between just two takes. One session takes 3–5 minutes.

Job interview · 60 sTake 1

Tell me about yourself.

Um, so I'm, uh, a sales manager. Five years in distribution, you know, I kind of handle key accounts. Um, last year I grew sales by a third, basically through new retail chains. I mean, I want to keep growing.

Filler words get highlighted in the transcript automatically — just like in the feedback after your take.

Coach feedback

Task for take 2Start without “um”: your first sentence is who you are and how you help the company.
  2. 02
    AI analysisTask done. A clean start and three times fewer fillers — 7 → 2, index 54 → 81.

Illustrative example. Take 2 comes right after the feedback, with one task from the coach.

Watching lessons won't make you a confident speaker

You can know dozens of rules and still freeze when your manager suddenly asks, “What do you think?” That's why Lammy has almost no theory.

  1. Get a questionLike in an interview, a meeting or a negotiation. The wheel picks the topic.
  2. Answer in 60 secondsAI shows where you lose your train of thought, drag out pauses and say “um”.
  3. Do a second takeWith one specific task from the coach — and you see the difference in numbers right away.
What exactly Lammy analyzes

After every minute you'll see

  • 01
Filler words“um”, “uh”, “you know” — highlighted in your text.
  • 02
Long pausesWhere you went quiet and for how long.
  • 03
Speaking paceWhether you're too fast or too slow.
  • 04
How fast you startedHow many seconds passed before your first word.
  • 05
Structure of thoughtWhether there's an opening, a point and a conclusion.
  • 06
On-point answerWhether you actually answered the question asked.
07
A specific recommendation for the next takeOne task instead of ten tips — so your second take is noticeably better than the first.

When the right words come five minutes after the conversation

A score alone changes nothing. A second take does.

Other apps end the session with analysis. Lammy starts with it.

One mistake, not a list

The coach picks one thing you can fix right now. You answer again and see the difference in numbers right away.

Filler words in plain sight

Each one is highlighted in the transcript and counted per minute. In a week you start hearing them yourself.

FAQ

Is it free?

Yes. Practice and coach feedback are free.

Do I need to sign up?

No. You can do your first session right away. Signing in with Google or email is only needed to save your progress and streak.

How is the Lammy Index calculated?

A score from 0 to 100 built from eight metrics: how fast you started, filler words, long pauses, pace, structure, coherence, answering the question and word choice. Fluency and content weigh the same, and smooth speech with no real point won't get a high score. The method is based on research on speech fluency and public speaking assessment. Levels: 85–100 composed speech, 70–84 confident answer, 50–69 solid base, 30–49 developing, below 30 getting started.

Is my voice recorded?

No. Audio of your take is only used to recognize your speech: it's deleted right after, we don't store it. The text goes to the coach for feedback. If you're signed in, the transcripts of your takes are saved in your practice history so you can reread them. You can delete them in your account.

Which devices does it work on?

Chrome, Safari and Edge on phone and computer. If you opened the link from Instagram, tap “⋯” and choose “Open in browser”.
